In a little over 24 hours, i will be in my Master’s arms again. But today, i wait. Experience has taught me to leave the preparations for the day before He arrives. So today and tomorrow i will wash clothes and clean the house, buy groceries, organize the toys, and wait. I will watch the icon of His plane as it travels across the country. And i will wait. When it is finally time, i will drive to the airport, stand in the terminal and wait, checking every face as they walk towards me, until i see the familiar smile. I will rush to Him and He will hold me tight against Him. My wait is over.
